Around Here…

It’s been busy around here lately!

We took a trip to Missouri over President’s Day weekend to see my guy’s family. It was a blast! I ate too many cookies, we played games and did a TON of driving. It was a bit exhausting as well, but I’m so glad that we made it out.

I’m also getting ready to start half marathon training again and am looking at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in October of this year, so I have plenty of time to prepare. I’ve gone on some long walks this past week and starting some light strength training after a hiatus. The cleanse has still been going well, so I know that my diet is where it needs to be for me to start training seriously. 🙂

The weather has been mostly nice in the 50s, but we’ve had some light snow and snow dustings as well. I have to say, I enjoyed this winter. It’s been 5 years since I experienced winter and I wasn’t looking forward to it… but playing the snow, winter wonderland days, sweater leggings and boots made up for it!
